I did a test recently for a job. These are some roughs I did as I tried to get a hang of the characters.

It would be nice just to be hired instead of being tested every time. It's kind of writing the final exam every time you want a job - Except even when you pass your not likely to get the job because somebody was one point or half a point higher... I think that's why I avoid animation jobs now.

Wow, very nice stuff, mate. :)
Good luck for your job!

I hear you G-man. I stopped doing tests about 6 years ago. I just refused to do them at that point in my career. But I am making an exception for this job because; 1- I really want the job, 2- The studio is out West. I am established enough in Toronto and Montreal to not have to do tests, but they don't know me out West at all, so I don't mind doing the test.

Thanks Matteo. I did these on a wacom tablet. It sucks for drawing. I need to get a Cintiq very soon.
