Kwok

Inspired by the great Philip Kwok. He was #4- the Lizard in "The 5 Deadly Venoms," he was also the Agent Hai Tou, the drunk, in "The Kid With The Golden Arm," and he was also the blind avenger in "The Cripples Avengers," plus tons of other starring roles. Philip Kwok should have been as big a star as Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan. His facial expressions, acting, and comedy is among the best, if not the best.

Kung Fu villain

Inspired by Chinese actor Wang Lung Wei. He usually played a villain or a corrupt official in the Shaw Bros. movies.

Evil Kung Fu Dude

Put on some whiskers and goatie and he instantly becomes a villain.

One of my favorite Venoms

It's hard to pick my favorite Venom, they are all so awesome. I do have a top 3 though, Lo Mang, Philip Kwok, and Chiang Sheng. This drawing, although not a caricature, is inspired by Chiang Sheng.

Fu Fighters

Young
Old

I have been watching a ton of old Kung Fu flicks lately, all the Shaw Bros. movies starring the 5 Venoms. So I was inspired to draw this guy. I drew one face and played with different facial hair.
I have to find these movies on DVD! My favorites are; The 5 Deadly Venoms, The Kid With The Golden Arm, Crippled Avengers, Flags Of Iron, Magnificent Ruffians, Legend Of The Fox, Sword Stained With Royal Blood, House Of Traps, Killer Army, Ten Tigers From Kwang Tung, Venom Mob, Life Combat, Brave Archer, Two Champions Of Shaolin, Death Chambers, Chinese Super Ninjas, Avenging Warriors Of Shaolin, Masked Avengers.
