Starting a fresh new sketchbook is intimidating. The paper is new and white, there are no creases in it, and no bad sketches. It is easier to draw on a scrap piece of paper than in a new sketchbook, you can always throw out the scrap if the sketch sucks. So here I just tried to fill a couple pages with doodles, just to get over the intimidation and to not be afraid to make a bad drawing, to try new things that may not work out.

intimidation
Starting a fresh new sketchbook is intimidating. The paper is new and white, there are no creases in it, and no bad sketches.
