So in the top pic, I darkened the sky and made it a crescent moon.
I came up with a nice color palette, but the middle pic doesn't look enough like night time, and the full moon can be mistaken for the sun. 
This is a shot of the Jacques Cartier Bridge in Montreal. It is used as the opening scene of this project.

Something about the title logo bugs me though, i find it doesn't quite jump out at me.
just an opinion.
I know what you mean about the title logo. The logo you see there is not the actual logo for the show, it is just a "place holder" logo for them to understand where the logo goes. As far as I know, the name of the series is still up in the air, originally it was just STAND UP, I added the TV part because it sounded better.It could end up being called something completely different.
