SKETCH

Just a pic I am doing for this week's ART JUMBLE topic. I'll only post the finished piece on ART JUMBLE. The sketch and progress pics I'll post here on my blog.

TOILET PUCK screen shot

I was working on some animation today. It is a personal project of mine. This is a screen shot of one of the scenes I did today. The project is called "The Refreshing Adventures Of TOILET PUCK". Plenty more on Toilet Puck can be seen HERE. The link is also on the side bar to the right, under "more of my blogs & sites"

yawning cat vectorized

This is as minimal as I could go with this pose.

Yawning cat

It's getting there.
I am trying to simplify this drawing. I'm working toward fewer lines, more suggestion of form, a streamlined minimal drawing.

I like this pose...

...so I did another drawing with the brush pen, and then some simple photoshop coloring.

lazy cat

That's my lazy Diesel, waiting for his belly to be rubbed.

digital color

Some simple photoshop coloring.

Geese

A late night sketch to make my daily blog entry quota. I used a brush pen on this.

brush work

Uncontrolled splatter is always a nice touch.

I like the boldness of brush work, the loose quality of the line. I'll color this later, probably with a loose water color wash, nothing digital on this piece.

My fat cat, DIESEL

I'll do the same thing to this as I did with my previous cat sketch, make it cartoony. I find my cat is the easiest thing to draw, so I'll probably be posting a lot of cat drawings in the next few weeks, to keep my "post every day" promise.

lounging cat colored

Just a quick color job to make sure I have a post for today, keeping my promise of a post everyday for the rest of the month.

Poetic Lounging...updated

Here's a cartoony version of the sketch below. In both sketches he's laying on my girlfriend's pillow, hence the smug expression. He LOVES laying all over her stuff, anything, a boot, a shirt, a purse, a book; if she puts it down, he's instantly on top of it.

My cat, DIESEL. He likes to sleep a lot. My girlfriend refers to his many resting positions as "POETIC LOUNGING." Here's one of them.

just a morning doodle

I don't know why white chicks always come back from tropical vacations with braided hair that only lasts a week, but it sure is sexy. I haven't been drawing enough lately, this is my first sketch in weeks. I am going to make sure to do a sketch each and every day for the rest of the month, and post it.

DEMO REEL!!!

Here is my demo reel. Several projects are not included yet, they will be added in the near future. There is a wide range of animation styles, from traditional animation, to flash and after effects, from fully animated to limited "South Park" animation. The song is "Raunchy" by "THE VENTURES." I made it as fun as possible, with the music and the clips selected. ENJOY!!!

wrap it up

I threw on a quick bg so that I can move on to the next pic I need to do for this pitch package.
