SPLAT

I've been trying for a while to digitally paint an abstract, sort of splatter, effect in photoshop. I finally achieved exactly the effect I was going for in the top pic. In the bottom, I added the white outline of a bg with some colored rocks, and the character.

You'd think having PANTS that turn into a tent would be a good thing. This is a collaboration I did with Errol Burke...turned out pretty darn funny, I must say.

This is a secondary, recurring character in this series we are developing. The idea for this guy actually started with a totally different idea we were developing. It was for a short based on this guy, but it was definitely not a kids show. It was supposed to be a very raunchy, disturbing, adult animated short. Somehow the character just seemed to fit in our current series in development. Of course we had to change him a bit, but he's still disturbing and creepy. This time he has a strawberry nose...trust me, you don't want to know what part of his anatomy was a strawberry in the original version of him.

I still want to add the mutant monster to this shot, but now I'm not sure where he'll go. Maybe the assistant with the gnarled hand is enough for this pic. I can always do another poster...with the monster.

Haven't done a girl drawing in a while. So here's a quick one.

Acid Trip

 The imposter.

 The real Unicorns.

There's something surreal about the way the Unicorns look. The stuff I watched as a kid, H.R. PufnStuf, the World of Oz, and the 60's SpiderMan are all very trippy when I see them today. That's what these Unicorns remind me of...a 60's acid trip induced cartoon. The only difference is I designed them without drugs.

Stretch Pants

A little gag for a project in development. His pants have a mind of their own. When needed the pants can invert their pockets and use them as arms.
