how's the weather up there?

This was my girlfriend's idea; to do a tall crowd character that we never see the head of. Like the character in the old POLIC SQUAD show, he was so tall that his head was always out frame. This is one of the last post of these incidental crowd characters, only one or two left. There is still much more to post from this project though, main characters, backgrounds, secondary characters, roughs, all kinds of goodies.

Grey dude

Another one from the long list of incidental characters in the crowd scenes. I had fun with these, usually crowd scenes are a pain in the butt, but I was allowed to go nuts with this crowd shot. So I made several characters with odd skin tones. Here's one of them, a grey skin tone.

Me and my girlfriend sitting at a table

I haven't been posting as often as I should be, been crazy busy with both work and play, and been out of town a lot this summer. But I will have a ton of new designs from the project I have been working on to post...A TON! The above pic is just a couple of incidental characters in the background, they are caricatures of my girlfriend and myself.

HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY!!!

MIGHTY MOUSE IS ON HIS WAY!

I usually draw Darkwing Duck when I am practicing and loosening up. But this time it's Mighty Mouse, because I have been watching a lot of the Bakshi, John K. Mighty Mouse cartoons on you-tube. I've also been watching the very old Mighty Mouse cartoons, they have much better stories and much better timing, and more well thought out and interesting ways for Mighty Mouse to save the day, but the drawings are very dated and not as fun to draw as the Bakshi, John K. Mighty Mouse cartoons.

more filler

From the same production as the post below, some bg designs. From top to bottom; exterior Noah's house, interior Noah's house, interior corner of the Noah's ark. Did I mention I have been busy working on my PUPPET and that's why I have nothing new to share?

filler

Sorry nothing new to post yet. I haven't had time to draw stuff that was not for work. I have been using my spare time to work on my PUPPET. And I can't post my work stuff until September. There will be a lot coll stuff to post then, the project I am on is a lot of fun. Maybe I will sneak in a post or two of some rejected characters; they can't have any objections to that...can they? In the meantime here a few rough oldies.
